Our youngest students need something more that coloring pages to do while at their seat in a socially distanced kindergarten classroom. As we are not allowed to share materials, students need their own small set of items. In future years, the materials will be used for indoor recess, which is a frequent occurrence due to poor air quality and weather.
I am looking for small toys and manipulatives for individual student use. Items must be small enough for storage and will be cleaned nightly to allow for a rotation of items. However, as we know the attention span of a kindergarten student is not long, they will need more than one set of items to work with throughout the day.
Students will not be able to play with each other but I hope they can still discuss what they have created to help their language skills.
