The Visual Edge Slant Boards will help create an environment to foster writing. These boards will function as a versatile workstation for my students. The Visual Edge Slant Boards are designed at a 22 degree angle, which is optimal and scientifically researched to promote and improve writing, reading, and speech. These boards are one size fits all, because of how versatile they are. My youngest readers can use them to practice building words with magnetic tiles. My 2nd graders can use them for reading so that their books are at slant which will minimize glare. My uppers will be able to use them for dry erase writing and brainstorming. We will all be able to use them as a writing surface when our groups grow and we need to move to the floor. The boards have a paper clip which we will be able to use to keep our papers organized.
