These books will help my students improve their reading skills. The other items such as the notebooks and markers will enhance their word identification skills. My classroom library is a place students really enjoy. I want students to enjoy reading at home. At the present time, my students are attending school virtually and I would like for them to read everyday while at home. Reading is fundamental in all parts of life. I want my students to show growth in reading, either in word identification, fluency or comprehension over this school year. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind to help them to motivate them to read while at home. I meet with the students virtually daily and I want them to discuss with me what they have read.
