As this year continues to unravel, students are entering into something new and unheard of. The books in this project showcase different cultures and perspectives that I believe students will benefit from. The collection of books chosen in this project was specifically curated for the unique and diverse demographic found at Routh Roach Elementary. Not only do students need books that reflect their own cultural background but also it is important for students to read about the experiences of others. A diverse classroom library serves all students in the class.These books become the tools to make students the peacemakers of the future.

About my class
