At our school, our mascot is the warrior. With current times, most reading comes in digital form. Students surprisingly say that they miss physical copies of books for reading. It would be a great surprise for them if they received a physical copy of the book they will be reading. It would lift their warrior spirit as the book deals with how to overcome fear , anxiety, insecurity: Things that most middle schoolers deal with. The fact that the word "Warrior" is in the title is a great plus. I hope that we can use this book in order to have meaningful classroom discussions on how to succeed not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Warriors all the way!
