These coping skills materials will be distributed by the BCS counseling team, during the month of September, for Suicide Prevention Month. We know that building resiliency is suicide prevention, and the need to support our students' mental health is important. We believe that teaching coping skills with hands-on lessons, and materials they can keep at school, will make a huge difference in their ability to learn and grow. Educating our students on ways to use fidgets will encourage them to be creative with how they calm their mind and body.
