Ideally, plastic money is needed to teach money. (Presently, there are worn out paper coins are in the classroom to teach about money.) Lessons about money, counting by 1's, counting by 5's, counting by 10's, and learning about less than and greater than and equal. Plastic coins will last forever! At this point in time, the Plastic coins can be bundled into kits which I can send home while we are involved in distance learning due to Covid; when they are returned, they will be easy to clean. When we can go back to school, the money can also be used at the Ice Cream Shop, Pizza Place, Pet Shop play centers.
