These fiction and non-fiction Spanish books are to give students more choices in reading material, apart from their curriculum based readings. Students will be able to pick and choose from the selected titles to enjoy during our reading time in the classroom. My goal is to help students develop an enjoyment of reading and become long time readers. This will allow them to develop their reading and comprehension abilities in their native language of Spanish. Many of the selected non-fiction titles focus on Next Generation Science Standards taught in the classroom. This will allow support and reinforcement to the science concepts taught previously.
