These rest mats are needed to provide a safe spot for my 3 and 4 year old students to rest in the afternoon. Our school is largely grant funded and low income. All of our students get free breakfasts and lunches. It would mean so much to be able to provide them all with new mats when we go back to the classroom. Currently, our mats are torn and have several holes in them. These new mats will make rest time better as they will be able to bring a blanket to cover themselves up with rather than their mats. It would be wonderful to welcome them to school with nice, clean mats. Further having these treated mats without holes will make it much easier to clean between the students and hopefully prevent fewer illnesses within my classroom.
