One of the best things about art class is the hands-on part of art-making. It is the opportunity to investigate, explore, and creatively problem solve. My students will begin art class virtually with digital assignments, but I want to offer projects that get the students away from the computer and physically making art again. I hope that these requested art kits can create an equitable opportunity for all students to succeed and express themselves in art class and throughout this pandemic. Hands on projects can be very unfair to students who cannot afford art supplies. These art kits will allow the students to do a variety of drawing projects at home like a long term sketchbook project, portrait drawings, and more!
