These DIY mini scopes will be easy for my students to make on their own and will open their eyes to the amazing world of the ultra-tiny. They will convert their cell phones into portable, picture-taking miniscopes, using a simple, plastic lens from a laser pointer and some poster tack. I am a science teacher at a Title One school and our resources are limited. This is a simple, fun activity for my kids to learn about the tiny world around them at home. We will study surfaces, tiny living things, and they will be able to explore and test their hand at "photography of the tiny."
