My students, and especially the girls, will study about Adriana Bailey. They will learn that perseverance will get you where you want in life. That is takes motivation and goals to get what you want to achieve. Learning about her will help increase confidence amongst the girls. The science kits, lessons, will allow students to explore habitats and STEM projects, that encourage imagination and creativeness. It will also allow the girls to learn to be independent. My students will also study Bridget Coughlin. She is a huge supporter of STEM. She is minority in this group and her drive to be successful in such an area is encouraging. My hope is she will motivate my female students to reach outside of the box. These lessons will be taught in the classroom. These materials will help give the students more of a hands on experience. The supplies associated will help store these science projects and lessons.
