As the students begin to learn within a hybrid model, having access to a document camera will be invaluable. Most of my students are visual learners. Being able to see math manipulatives enlarged and projected will support their understanding. Students form a deeper connection while observing various types of learning materials such as excerpts of text, written pieces, or scientific pictures of models and animals. The students will be able to see their finished work displayed and share ideas with their peers while socially distancing. In order for students to work and learn together safely, their work areas and materials must be properly sanitized. Therefore, it is crucial to have the proper cleaning materials such as disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes to help prevent the spread of the virus More importantly, having large dry-erase lined paper will enable my students to see me model different topics in both Math and Writing.
