Many of the items on my list consists of books that give my students a better understanding of what is going on in todays world. I wanted to make sure I had books about diversity because I wanted them to understand that no matter what they look like, they are beautiful. I plan on building lessons around those books. There are many science items on my list as well, and I was hoping to build up my science center since my students did not have the full experience in my first 2 years of teaching. Year 3 has so many different possibilities. Even though we are starting virtual, at some point I will be back in the classroom I will be able to give my kids a well rounded experience in preschool.
