These books will further implement the social emotional learning plan to my students. My students have been extremely bothered by the injustices in America and feel fearful. These books will allow us to connect as a class while being able to create some social emotional learning that is relatable to their real-world experiences. Furthermore, this will also help the students improve their reading and comprehension skills. With this book, my students will have a social emotional learning experience while improving their reading and comprehension skills. This book will help to identify and increase mu students self-awareness, social-awareness, and self-management.
