My students are learning about the world around them. They question and observe naturally! The items provided in this project along with the resources available from If/Then, will be used to help my little scientists during their explorations. My students learn about plants, phases of the moon and sun and animal life cycles. The crayons, pencils and glue will be used to take notes (draw) their observations and hypothesis in their science journals. The pictures and videos from If/Then will be used to explain the different areas of science. The videos will allow the students to see people of every race and gender engaged in science exploration; This is so important because females and people of color are under represented in science. I hope my students see themselves as the scientists that they are!
