Greer Elementary School strives to make learning equitable for our students. We do not send home "school supply lists" because we don't want to tax our families. Instead we try to provide students with all the materials they will need with in-school resources. This year our county is learning virtually, which means students do not have access to the materials we usually share at school. Students often say they aren't able to do artwork because they lack basic art supplies at home. I am thrilled to be giving each student their own set of oil pastels. Oil pastels allow students to create more vibrant, dynamic and eye-catching pictures. High-quality and exciting new materials allow their personal expression to bloom. All students deserve supplies that foster their unique creativity.
