This year I would like to ensure that every child who is in need has the personal educational materials that will allow them to fully engage and participate in all remote learning activities. This will ensure every child has equal access to online learning. Another benefit of this is that when we return to school, each child can bring their learning bin into the classroom and every child will have his or her individual materials (that students are familiar with accessing) to participate in the classroom. All students will receive a paper tray, which I will call a learning bin, that will allow students to remain organized while following safety procedures. Students will not be sharing materials. The paper trays will also double as a sensory bin for science exploration (to fill with playdough, water, rice etc). Inside, the paper trays will be filled with learning supplies. I am able to get some supplies from my school building, such as crayons and dry erase markers. I need your help to provide other meaningful materials such as: 1. Reusable Write and Wipe Pockets so the students can practice tracing and drawing things like their name, letters, numbers, shapes, pictures etc. 2. Playdough so the children can engage in hands on-fine motor activities which include all of their 5 senses. 3. Construction paper and 4. Glue Sticks so they can create drawings and dozens of art projects.
