The buzz word in education right now is "flexible" seating for students. This is to give them more options when working. One of these options is standing desks. This is awesome, however, how about we give the teachers the same option? We also like to move around! My chair happens to be the same chair that the kids are using, a hard, plastic chair that is actually too low for my long legs. I am requesting an adjustable stand up desk converter that is mobile! One of the issues I have is going over to the computer to teach STEM, financial literacy, along our core learning subject throughout the distance learning day and either sitting down for a couple of minutes or bending over to use the mouse (which is really rough on the back)! Having this adjustable stand up desk converter will be much better on my legs and back and also a much healthier option. I can move this desk around if needed as well. Oh and one added benefit is that this desk has an extra shelf to put the document camera to display STEM. financial literacy and core learning materials to my students. I, like my students, hate sitting in those chairs! And I, like my students, would love to stand while working!
