Every year I have students pick an animal they have never heard about, research this animal and present findings on this animal to the class. Keep in mind—some of my students have never been to a zoo, so not all animals chosen are extravagant. I get so much joy out of hearing how amazed they are at what the animals’ habitats look like and how the animal might change as it develops. My students are not 1:1 with devices, so I would love help in giving them more opportunities to explore.
