When I wasn't planning my wedding, I was spending the majority of my summer preparing for fall. I took a lot of professional development and I learned a lot from other teachers! I didn't want to feel unprepared like in the spring! In the spring, I struggled to know if I was providing enough for all of my families. Needless to say, I was giving my best effort and all of my energy to families; but sometimes it doesn't feel like enough. There are many teachers who sell their products on Teachers Pay Teachers, and there are so many incredible resources that I could use in a number of ways! (I also love that buying from TPT also gives money to and supports fellow educators!) There are a few products I want to buy that teachers have made specifically for remote learning; they have made it easily accessible through Google Classroom, which is the platform my school will be using. Something else I am really wanting to purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers is Social Justice and Cultural Diversity curriculum units from other teachers. My school doesn't have much in the diversity department, and a goal I have for this year is to make sure I am doing my best to be more diverse and inclusive in my teaching material and literature! From Lakeshore, I want to buy these comprehension cards that I've seen other teachers use on Zoom and online. There is one made specifically for 2nd and 3rd grade, which is perfect for me because those are the two grades I teach!
