Since we are beginning the year distance learning, this gives me time as a first year teacher to create an amazing and accessible library for my kiddos! When they come back in January they will be amazed to see all of the books on the shelves! The magnetic shelves will sit nicely behind me during our Zoom meetings displaying the social emotional books we will read together. My classroom used to be the computer lab, so it will take some time creating a library from scratch. However, it is so worth it because my students LOVE books! I plan to motivate my students by showing them the beautiful library they have to look forward to when we get to come back to the classroom.
