This year I have been assigned to teach my students remotely which is challenging because lab equiptment and supplies cannot be mailed home for students to use. With those road blocks up, I am determined to have these young developing minds still experience all they can in the wondeful world of science. Due to the current pandemic that is changing how we live, as an educator, I must change the way I teach my 7th graders. By acquiring these supplies, I will be able to show my students real pieces of their world through the lense of a microscope which can be connected to my phone or computer. We desperately need our youth to be drawn to science in order to help make this world a better place to be whether it is through designing biodegradable plastics to creating new vaccines for bateria or viruses. With your support and help, our world can become a superior and safer place to live.
