I am asking for support in my online instruction and providing tools such as a USB microphone, a stand, a ring light, a document reader, a small magnetic whiteboard, a computer monitor, blocking blue light glasses, and a printer. With a USB microphone, my kindergarten students will be able to hear me clearly. At this age, we work on phonological awareness and they need to be able to hear me pronounce the letter sounds accurately and effectively. Using a second computer monitor is a game-changer, it will allow me to see my students and share my screen at the same time. I'm hoping this will help me to feel a bit closer to my students without having to juggle screens and apps. As for the blue-light blocking glasses, staring at my screen for the entire day of teaching will help in saving my eyes from damage and prevent headaches throughout my school day. Also, with an all-in-one printer, I will hopefully be able to print documents in color because we all know kindergarteners love lots of colors! A laptop stand will help my students to see me perfectly when attending my live zoom session teachings on a daily basis. The pencil stylus will help me as I use my iPad to model how to write their alphabet correctly during my lessons. to write All of these items will allow a smooth transition to distance learning!
