This computer, along with some equipment I own, will allow the students to create their own music albums and podcasts. It is a known fact that music can be a stress reliever and this is especially true for the children I work with. There are times when strumming a guitar is all my student needs to calm down. This computer will allow them to start recording the music they make. This will provide a way for the student to experience hearing themselves play an instrument and sing. They will also be able to record their thoughts, again this can be a great method to help them learn to calm themselves. Just like adults need to get their thoughts out sometimes, students can also benefit from that.
