The resources I am requesting with this project will help me provide the students with an opportunity to better understand the lessons being taught by using these hands-on manipulatives to explore. Two of the items, Centro de silabas and Formando palabras, will help my students understand syllables and how putting the syllables together will form words. For some students this is a very difficult concept to understand. In order to help my students understand the concept, they will be given the opportunity to use the item "Formando Palabras" to physically move the syllables and form new words. This will be used during their own center time or with me during small group. The mat will help them better understand the 100s chart by making it into a fun game for my students. This will also be used during center times when they can partner up with someone and help them get to the right n umbers. Any help with making this project a reality will be greatly appreciated.
