My school district will not provide teachers with disinfecting wipes, hand-sanitizers or any forms of PPE. Therefore, I am extremely worried about my students' safety and health going into the new school year with Covid-19 still very much a concern throughout the world.
I am requesting disinfecting wipes, hand-sanitizers, gloves and face masks for a safe and clean classroom during this Covid-19 pandemic. I want to do my part as a teacher to provide a safe and clean classroom environment and to help stop the spread of Covid-19 with the use of disinfecting cleaning supplies and PPE. The health of my students plays a major part in their abilities to continue to learn well and engage in lessons. To help keep the classroom safe and clean. I would like to have a rigorous cleaning schedule in place throughout the school day with disinfecting wipes and gloves. To reduce the spread of Covid-19 my goal is to provide each student with facial mask daily. The health of my students is my top priority, so I'm hoping to teach them the importance of practicing social distancing and keeping our classroom clean in order to curb the spread of Covid-19 and other bacteria.
I am also requesting ink cartridges so I can provide my students with printed materials. Students with special needs require accommodation such as adapted books to help increase their level of participation, build language and vocabulary skills; so in order to take this learning beyond the classroom and to help them learn and stay engage in lessons the need for ink cartridges is essential to create these adapted books for remote teaching.
