The purchase of individual carts and whiteboard markers will allow for students to be independent of their own supplies, self-care products, and school materials. A tiny desk does not allow for the storage of many items. Normally, students are able to walk around to get a tissue, drink, or other materials they may need throughout the day. Given our current circumstance due to the COVID pandemic, students will have limited areas to access. Providing each child with their own cart will allow for simplicity and safety in accessing their needs throughout the school day. This project prevents the spread of COVID-19 and will provide the children with a sense of independence.
