Social skills are important for elementary students to build and maintain positive, safe, and personal interactions with others. Exceptional education students require specialized instruction in making and sustaining friendships, making good choices, and managing their own lives. These resources will be valuable for implementing appropriate learning strategies, such as conflict resolution, money matters, and developmental needs when difficulties arise. Struggling socially can take a toll on kids’ self-esteem and cause them to feel isolated at school. It helps students to learn that everyone struggles with something, and that social skills can improve for them.

About my class
