The lab equipment that I have selected is needed to conduct basic science experiments, such as how the amount of matter affects the temperature of certain objects and comparing and contrasting mass and weight. Students will be able trained to use and read thermometers, graduated cylinders and triple beam balances. This equipment can be used throughout the year and for years to come. Giving students hands-on experience can help solidify the concepts that are sometimes difficult to grasp and understand. Plus seeing science as a discipline that produces tangible and valid data aids in the process of producing future science leaders.
