As a second year teacher I don't have enough books to read aloud to my class. I was using books from Youtube last year, but of course the students would prefer if I read the books to them. These books teach great behavior management in a way that is understandable to children. The topics range from, why rules are important, the difference in tattling and bullying, to understanding how a student deals with their emotions. With Virtual teaching I still plan to read to the students over Zoom. Having the physical book in my hand will be one less video the students are having to watch.
