I believe that the instruments that I have selected will help make an impact on my students' learning. Every time I bring out the few instruments I do have in the classroom, the children light up and even cheer. Even with the limited resources, they love being able to sing, play and be creative. My students love playing instruments together, but we currently do not have enough instruments for a class set. Sharing is a great option, but if we had a few more we could spend so much more time playing and making music instead of switching back and forth between students. These drums, triangles, shakers, and guiros will give my students a creative outlet and help insure a positive music experience.
