During these unprecedented times staying safe is a priority. Children are precious and need to be protected. In order to accomplish this and follow social distancing guidelines set out by the CDC nothing should be shared. That is why it is important to plan ahead to secure material that will keep kids learning and safe. Students will need everyday classroom materials that are not at risk of being contaminated by others. They will need their own pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and markers to complete assignments. They will need these supplies at home to complete math, science social studies, reading, and even art and library assignments. They will need highlighters and pens to take notes and mark vocabulary and thoughts on what they read in books and for close reads. They will need dry erase boards and markers to share their ideas and thoughts quickly and project them on screen virtually. They also need a case to keep all of these materials stored and safe Keeping all children safe and following guidelines in non-negotiable and imperative if we do return to the classroom. Students will also need these supplies if we return to Distance Learning this fall and a way to keep organized at home.
