I teach students with Autism and other special needs. We are an active class, working hard everyday! Some of my students have great difficulty concentrating, sitting still, organizing their work areas, organizing their thoughts and most importantly filtering sensory input and output is a great challenge. Sensory vests and items will help my students by providing deep, even pressure to improve body awareness, has a calming effect upon children as well as improve attention and focus. These sensory items will help my students improve their time on task and be able to learn more daily without so many interruptions.

About my class
