An outside bench will add a learning space for my students while exploring their outdoor environment. Having a place that allows them to build, read, or just communicate with their friends while being outside gives them the extra resource needed for their outdoor experiences. We would also use this for outdoor activities and instruction in small group settings. Having a place to sit and explore their activities and environment is as important as their physical movement while being outdoors. It gives them a place to not only to relax but explore also.
