Your support directly impacts our students' safety, organization, and hands-on learning experience.\r\n\r\nThe disposable gloves you provided allow our students to work safely and professionally in the lab environment. In a career and technical education setting where students are actively diagnosing, disassembling, and servicing engines, proper personal protective equipment is not optional — it is essential. Your donation helps reinforce industry safety standards and OSHA-based practices that our students are expected to follow as future technicians.\r\n\r\nThe notebooks you donated support the academic side of our program. While our students enjoy getting their hands dirty, technical education also requires documentation, diagramming, service notes, and reflection. These notebooks help students track lab procedures, record measurements, document tear-downs, and build habits that mirror real-world repair order documentation and service writing skills.\r\n\r\nThe portable whiteboard has already enhanced classroom instruction. It allows for flexible teaching during lab demonstrations, small group instruction, and troubleshooting sessions. Being able to move instruction directly to the equipment increases engagement and allows students to visually connect theory with practical application in real time.\r\n\r\nYour contribution does more than provide supplies — it strengthens a program that prepares students for careers in the powersports, automotive, and small engine industries. Because of community partners like you, our students gain the tools, safety mindset, and technical knowledge needed to enter the workforce with confidence.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your investment in our students and look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships that support hands-on career education in our community.","fullyFundedDate":1761573521659,"projectUrl":"project/gears-for-growth-support-student-powersp/9751393/","projectTitle":"Gears for Growth Support Student Powersports Technicians","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Huggins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10275854"},{"teacherId":10235540,"projectId":9935555,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, our classroom has truly been transformed into a space where growth and kindness are celebrated every single day. From the moment the boxes arrived, my students' eyes lit up with excitement. They could not wait to sort the new school supplies, explore the beautiful items, peek into the mystery grab-bags, and organize the new coloring utensils we now use during class activities. One of my favorite moments was during a class discussion, when students were actively participating to earn tickets they could later redeem for prizes. Even students who are usually hesitant to speak up were raising their hands, offering thoughtful responses, and building on one another's ideas. As they collected their tickets, you could see their pride and determination grow, they were truly inspired. The simple act of earning a ticket for their effort made them beam with confidence. They felt seen, valued, and motivated to keep trying, even when the task was challenging.\r\n\r\nWe are using the supplies daily to stay organized and prepared, which has increased student confidence and independence. The coloring utensils have been especially impactful during reading and writing activities. Students use them to annotate texts, illustrate vocabulary words, create visual story maps, and add creativity to their projects. This has made lessons more engaging and has helped visual learners better connect with the material. The snacks and treats have become a meaningful way to refuel and refocus during long learning blocks, while the ticket system reinforces perseverance, participation, and kindness. Recently, during a writing project, students worked diligently to revise and improve their drafts, knowing their effort could earn them a ticket. The classroom buzzed with encouragement as they cheered each other on and reminded one another to stay focused so they could reach their goals. Collecting tickets and saving them to redeem for prizes has added excitement while strengthening responsibility and delayed gratification.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this positive momentum. Our next steps include launching a long-term goal-setting project where students will track their academic and personal growth, earning tickets as they meet milestones. The activity kits will support collaborative research projects, and the ticket rewards will continue to inspire positive choices throughout the year. Because of you, my students are learning that hard work, kindness, creativity, and resilience truly matter, and that their efforts are worth celebrating. Thank you for helping us create a classroom where every child can rise above and believe in themselves.","fullyFundedDate":1764734537024,"projectUrl":"project/rise-above-rewards-celebrating-growth-a/9935555/","projectTitle":"Rise Above Rewards: Celebrating Growth and Greatness.","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mae","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10235540_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756789858541","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10235540"},{"teacherId":8121406,"projectId":9980506,"letterContent":"Wow!
