One of my favorite moments was during a class discussion, when students were actively participating to earn tickets they could later redeem for prizes. Recently, during a writing project, students worked diligently to revise and improve their drafts, knowing their effort could earn them a ticket. The classroom buzzed with encouragement as they cheered each other on and reminded one another to stay focused so they could reach their goals.
