These items can be used in class or at home to extend learning. The STEM items will be used in the science and math curriculum to help high school students understand the concepts beyond the text. They will apply their learning and see direct results. The social-emotional state of our students will be a very important component to their learning this year and every year moving forward. I work in a center-based EBD high school classroom, my students were already facing more trauma than most people see in their lifetime, that has all been amplified with the recent events. I want to give them a space where they can release in a healthy way and be ready to learn and their full potential.
