These snacks and meals will supplement our students' food needs. As you know, public school students have been physically out of school since March. With our students starting this year doing 100% distance learning, my priority is getting as many kids fed as possible. As it stands now, public schools are only able to provide food for enrolled students. Unlike our summer program, meals will need to be paid for by any student not on free and reduced-price meal plans. The goal is to provide additional food for families to pick up when students pick up their school meal at lunchtime. While it will not fill the entire gap, it will help our families.
