With everything in my district being virtual, my students struggle with using a computer and being able to complete the typical online assignments because of their disabilities. Therefore, we need your help in order for them to complete their goals in academics and in their social life! My students will learn things from writing and reading all the way to being able to communicate what they would like for lunch for the day through their iPads! Communication is the way every person interacts with others and express themselves, but my students have no way to do that at the moment. Many of my students are verbally impaired and cannot express their needs and wants through speech, therefore, these iPads will be used as assistive technology for speech. The iPads will also be used for them to complete their virtual learning as well!! This way we can complete two major tasks with one project!
