Students will not be able to borrow from my 500+ books I have in my classroom library and they will not be able to borrow from the library. We are an urban district and many students do not have the funds to purchase books themselves. As an ELA teacher who loves to read, I need to have students with books in their hands... stories that make them excited to read! The more they read, the better reads they will be!! One of the best things as a student is being able to look through books and choose the right one. They need to have books at home and in school to support their reading. Please help me make this possible.
