The classroom rug will allow my students to sit at a safe distance during our large group learning times. It will help them define and practice personal space, which will in turn help them stay engaged in the group activities. They will be able to attend to the teacher, and not be disruptive to other children as they learn what it means to have personal space. The rug will help my students be able to choose their own learning spot. The ability to choose will positively affect their problem solving skills.

About my class
