This portable green screen can be used at school to give students a background choice for their first day of school picture. It can also be used throughout the school year for student projects. When students are learning from home, I will use the green screen to enhance my stories that I read over Zoom with backgrounds and pictures that engage them and help them make connections. Based on the backdrop, the students will be asked to make predictions and give feedback. Books are both windows and mirrors for their lives and using this green screen will engage my students to be active listeners.
