To end the 2019-2020 school year, my students and I had to quickly learn the ins and outs of remote learning. During this time, I spent a lot of hours creating lessons and materials from scratch to engage my students. The time it took to create these lessons and materials took time away from actually teaching my students. During this time, I found many wonderful resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that engaged my students and allowed me to meet them on their level. I purchased some materials from this website, and in turn, it supported other teachers. In the upcoming school year, my students will be beginning their 5th grade year with remote learning. I would like to have the funds available to purchase engaging lessons and materials for these incoming fifth graders.
