My students have unique and individual needs, which is why they are pulled out of their regular education classroom to come into my class. My students have a wide range of learning strengths and preferences, which is why it is important for my students to learn in visual, kinesthetic, and engaging ways. This is why I have requested a wide range of materials like play dough, kinetic sand, and whiteboards. A large amount of my students are still learning how to be a responsible and independent student, so it is also important for them to learn organization. By supplying my classroom with organization tools like the organizing set of drawers, my students will learn how to become better students so they can excel in the regular education classroom. I also have students with a variety of unique needs and sensory preferences, so the earplugs and lamps will help to change the learning environment for the students who have sensory needs. Overall, by donating to my project, you will be helping students with unique learning needs to excel in the classroom by supplying sensory, hands on, and organizational tools to the classroom.
