With teaching a fifth grade inclusion classroom, I am looking forward to meeting the individual needs of my students through a multi sensory approach. The students will use the sketch journal and colored pencils to create doodle notes that will engage the whole brain while using special color memory triggers and form brain connections through the visuals they create. "These special connections stick in the student's brain. They recall the design of their lettering or drawing and can then remember the idea or term they were taught." The play dough will be used to teach the tough concept of inferencing. The plastic dry erase sleeves, markers and erasers will be sent home with the children as we start the year out virtually. I am eager to provide my individual students' the necessary tools to help them blossom in my classroom and to achieve their dreams! Thank you for supporting this project!
