Many of these materials are basic needs that my classroom is currently lacking. A reliable pencil sharpener may seem like something each classroom would be equipped with but unfortunately, that is not the case for my students! Also, this electric pencil sharpener does not require students to be touching the broken wall crank sharpener that is older than dirt! Organizer binders and sheet protectors will be turned into morning routine work to help students build their knowledge of their personal information such as name, address, phone number but will also address numbers (ten more, ten less, before, after). These morning routine binders help establish a routine and expectations that will help them in their core subjects as well. Currently, my classroom does not have mailboxes for my students which makes sending material home chaotic and students often lose papers that get placed on their desks to go home. Lastly, the clear plastic organizers will be used for our guided reading groups that would allow me to organize activities based on student's reading levels (most first graders vary between reading level A-O but ideally will end the school year at a J!) These materials would be greatly appreciated and can be used for my future students as well!
