As a new teacher and new to special education there is a lot of items that my students need to be successful. These items will help students to be build essential skills as they play. They will help them to be engaged, build verbal skills, social skills, and fine motor skills. This project will help to create a foundation for our classroom. Currently my classroom is bare and I know these items are essential for my students to learn. I have included items that will help my students to build essential skills through pretend play, games, activities, and structured play.
