I teach high school social studies during a time that civics education is important now more than ever. However, since the onset of Covid-19, I have noticed a steep decline in engagement in my classroom. Students are dealing with all sorts of challenges and problems. I want to be able to use these materials in my classroom to make it a safe, fun and engaging environment for my students. I have included mainly graphic novels about historical events that we discuss in my classes to find new and exciting ways to look at and engage with the content. As well as board games to make learning fun. I truly believe that school can be an enjoyable experience for all.

About my class
