Students need to be CPR certified in order to participate in required externships at health care facilities. Teaching CPR during Covid has been exceptionally challenging. I have limited supplies and usually have students grouped closely together for practice on the manikins. These supplies will allow me to create a more socially distanced learning environment. These AED trainers will give students realistic, hands-on, life-saving practice. My students will benefit because they will be qualified to attend an externship, but everyone actually benefits because these students will be able and ready to save a friend or family member too!
