The books included in my project will make a great impact on the students that I serve. Kindergarten is the foundation of a child's education and read alouds are a big component. As we are starting virtual learning, I will be reading most of these books to students live as well as recording fun read alouds for children to listen to later. We will spend the first 8 days of schools building community even online. I've chosen books about kindness, acceptance and learning online to read the first few days of school to provoke discussion in my young learners. I've also included book sets in my project. My plan for the book sets are to send those books to students when they pass a reading level.
